In the Ingenuity Frontier, we value education. We think young people and adults of northwest Minnesota should have the opportunity to learn, to grow and to achieve their career dreams.

We think the K-12 schools and colleges found in northwest Minnesota are some of the best in the country.

Ingenuity Frontier has been instrumental in introducing Project Lead The Way in our region. This exciting pre-engineering curriculum has teachers and students alike getting excited. Our initial goal was to see six schools implement the curriculum. In just two short years, we have already surpassed our goal, with seven schools currently implementing the curriculum.

The Center for Manufacturing & Applied Engineering (one of four Center of Excellence awards from MnScu), came on the scene in October of 2005. What does it mean to the Ingenuity Frontier? It means access to leading edge technology, R&D and a highly-skilled workforce. It means that students enrolled in our region's higher educational institutions have hands-on experience with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and technology. It also means two, new engineering degrees, designed in response to the specific needs of our industries.
